Apartment Biolay 2 is a fantastic two bedroom apartment located by the Planards ski area and Montenvers train station in the town of Chamonix. The modern apartment can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests with the use of the living room sofa bed. The open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen is a great social space for groups or families. A shared sauna offers you the chance to fully relax after a day on the mountains. Families with kids will love the nearby Planards amusement park and luge.
Apartment Biolay 2 is in a great location in Chamonix. The centre of town, with great restaurants, bars, cafes and shops is just a 10 minute walk away but the apartment is situated away from any noise in a quiet, residential spot. The apartment is around the corner from the Planards beginner ski slopes and the luge which is open year round and great entertainment for all ages. In the summer the Planards area becomes a children’s amusement park. The Montenvers train station, which takes you up the mountainside to the famous Mer de Glace is also just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. In conclusion, Apartment Biolay 2 is a great spot for small groups and families who would like to be close to the action of Chamonix, but in a quiet spot.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor and has a private entrance. There is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with dining table, sofa bed, TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and coffee machine. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room including a basin, WC and shower. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds. The second bathroom is accessed from the hallway and has a shower over the bath, basin & WC. Externally there is a designated parking space directly in front of the apartment and access to a shared terrace, sauna and utility room with washer/dryer.
Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for each bed (there is a 25 euro per stay supplement for a sofa bed pack if your property has a sofa bed you wish to use), end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 30% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 2.3 euros per adult per night and a non-refundable booking fee of 5%. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, excluding the 5% booking fee. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
