Our partners at Evolution 2 Chamonix offer private snowshoe hikes in the stunning Chamonix Valley, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the serenity of the mountains and experience the unique sound of snowshoes on fresh snow. The hikes are led by knowledgeable guides passionate about nature, who will share insights about the local fauna, flora, and snow conditions.

There are two options available: a half-day hike and a full-day hike. Both options are suitable for all levels, and the group size ranges from 1 to 8 people per guide. The meeting place and itinerary will be discussed with the guide the day before the hike, ensuring a personalized experience based on the participants’ expectations and abilities.

If participants do not have their own snowshoe equipment, it can be included in the booking. The rental prices are €6 for snowshoes and €7 for snowshoes with poles.

The half-day hike is priced at €190 for 1 to 8 people, offering the opportunity to explore the beauty of the mountains during either the morning or afternoon. The full-day hike, priced at €320, provides a more extensive experience, allowing participants to spend an entire day surrounded by nature.

Evolution 2 Chamonix offers an exciting dog sledging experience surrounded by nature. There are two options available: driving your own sledge or being a passenger guided by professionals.

For those who want to learn how to drive a sledge, there is an introduction to sledging option. After a briefing and meeting the team dogs, participants will take the reins of their own sledge. The activity is suitable for participants aged 8 and above, with a maximum of 6 people per session. The price is €95 per person. The duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour, including a 15-minute briefing and a 20-30 minute walk. The meeting place is either the Chamonix Golf Course or La Vormaine in Le Tour, depending on snow conditions.

Alternatively, for individuals who cannot drive the sledge (such as children aged 3 to 8 or elderly people), there is a passenger sledge option. After a short briefing, participants will be seated in the sledge of a professional musher. One or two people can be accommodated in the sled, with a total weight limit of 75kg. Only one sledge is available per hour. The minimum age for this option is 3 years old, and the price is €110 for 1 or 2 people.

Both options provide an extraordinary and fun-filled experience, allowing participants to enjoy the thrill of being pulled by sledge dogs while being guided by experienced mushers. The activity offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and create lasting memories in the beautiful surroundings of Chamonix.

Our partners at Evolution 2 offer a variety of off-piste ski experiences for different skill levels. They provide sessions tailored to intermediate and advanced skiers, exploring varied terrains while ensuring safety. These sessions accommodate 4 to 6 participants and last either half a day or three consecutive mornings.

In addition, they offers Avalanche Awareness sessions, where participants learn about recognising different snow layers and assessing avalanche risks. This half-day session is suitable for those with a good level of off-piste skiing.

For advanced off-piste skiers, there is the Magic Spot experience. Led by experienced guides, participants explore the best powder spots in the Chamonix Valley. This adventure can be booked for one, two, or three days, with different meeting points depending on snow conditions.

Alpes Travel also provides a Valley Blanche descent experience. This exhilarating off-piste skiing journey covers over 20 km in the Mont Blanc massif.
