Apartment Demi de Melee is a modern and well-equipped four-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment accommodating up to eight guests. Located in the popular alpine village of Argentière, the renowned Grands Montets ski area is just a five-minute walk away.

The apartment is situated in the centre of Argentière, just a five-minute walk from the gondola providing access to the Grands Montets ski area, well known for some of the Chamonix Valley’s most challenging pistes. In winter, a nearby cross-country ski track is easily accessible, while in summer Argentière serves as a starting point for numerous hiking trails.
The apartment is located directly above one of the most highly regarded bakeries in the valley, offering exceptional convenience for fresh bread and pastries each morning. Argentière also boasts a wide selection of bars, restaurants, and shops, providing ample options for après-ski, lunch, and dinner. A bus stop and train station are both within a five-minute walk, offering easy access to the other villages and ski areas throughout the Chamonix Valley.
Please note that as the apartment is located above a bakery, some guests—particularly light sleepers—have reported occasional disturbance.

Separate WC located off the main hallway
The apartment is located on the first floor of a small residence and offers a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The living space includes comfortable sofas, a television, a wood-burning stove, and a large dining table. Large doors open onto a generous decked terrace with exceptional mountain views and a gas BBQ.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, hob, coffee machine, and dishwasher. All four bedrooms are spacious and designed to comfortably accommodate two guests each. Externally, the property benefits from a secure ski and boot storage room with boot dryers, as well as one dedicated parking space.
Alpes Travel also manages Apartment Deuxième Melee, located directly above. When combined, both apartments can accommodate up to 14 guests. Larger groups are encouraged to enquire about availability.
Self-catered bookings include bed linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If additional linen is required to accommodate maximum occupancy (for example, when using a sofa bed), a supplementary linen fee of €25 applies.
The rate includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to the Carte d’Hôtes. This card allows complimentary use of local trains and offers discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out by 10:00 AM. Late arrivals may incur additional charges. If the apartment permits pets, additional fees apply: dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog. Cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 10% of the total cost is required. In addition to the accommodation fee, a local tourist tax of €4.60 per adult per night will be charged. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days prior to arrival, with email notification sent in advance.
Cancellations made by email up to 30 days before arrival are fully refundable. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.
A temporary damage deposit of €500 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. This deposit will be released following check-out, subject to inspection.
