Located in the heart of Chamonix, apartment La Tramousse occupies a traditional chalet-style building spread across two floors. This well-appointed accommodation offers guests a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area accommodating up to six individuals comfortably.

The apartment features an inviting open-plan living area, complete with a log fire, television equipped with a DVD player, music speakers, and plush seating. Adjoining the living area is a balcony, providing guests with impressive views of the Mont Blanc Massif and an opportunity to relish in the mountain ambiance.

Suitable for families and groups, the apartment offers flexible sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. However, it’s important to note that one of the rooms has lower ceilings, making it more suitable for children. While adults can utilize these beds, it’s advisable to consider this aspect when making reservations.

With two bathrooms, the apartment facilitates efficient preparations for group outings, particularly during peak morning hours. Additionally, despite its central location and proximity to public transportation, the apartment offers off-street parking for added convenience.

What’s included

Self-catered Alpes Travel bookings include linen & towels, end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.

Once a booking is confirmed, guests will have access to private guest area and digital guide to the property tailored for each individual booking. From the guest area you will have the option to add additional bookable extras. Services include fresh flowers upon arrival, a food or champagne hamper, high chairs, cots, a local beer selection from Big Mountain Brewing, airport transfers, ski hire, a games pack and much much more!


Payment terms and Cancellation

To confirm the booking, you must pay 30% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night and a non-refundable booking fee of 5%. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.


If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, excluding the 5% booking fee. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
