Apartment Trabets 2 in the centre of Les Houches is a new, three bedroom, two bathroom chalet-style apartment which sleeps up to eight guests. The open plan living area is an excellent social space for families or groups of friends and boasts a large dining table and plenty of comfy lounge space. The pellet stove is a great addition on cosy winter evenings and the terrace, running the whole length of the apartment, is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and take in the impressive mountain views.
The apartment is conveniently located in the centre of the village of Les Houches. There are a number of restaurants and cafés within a 5 minute walk of the apartment and the nearest lift, the Bellevue Gondola, is just a 2 minute walk away. Bellevue gives access to tree-lined skiing in winter and hiking trails at the foot of Mont Blanc in summer. Quick access to the main road in and out of the Chamonix Valley means the apartment is well placed for convenient access to Geneva as well as exploring the other towns/villages in the Chamonix Valley or further afield such as Megève and Les Contamines. Chamonix centre is just a 10 minute drive or a short bus ride away. With a bus stop just a 2 minute walk from the apartment, a car isn’t a necessity to enjoy the other ski areas and villages of the valley. In conclusion, Apartment Trabets 2 is perfectly located for those keen to explore the Chamonix Valley whilst being conveniently located in a central village location.
Apartment Trabets 2 is situated on the first floor of a small chalet-style apartment building and has its own private entrance. There is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area which has direct access onto a good sized terrace. There is a large dining table and comfy lounge area with spacious L-shaped sofa, smart TV and cosy pellet stove. The modern kitchen has every convenience including a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and large fridge-freezer. The master bedroom can be made up as a double or a twin and has an ensuite bathroom with WC and separate bath and shower. Bedroom 2 has twin beds which can also be made up as a double and the 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds sleeping 4. From the hallway you can access a shower room and separate WC. There is underground parking for one car and a cave for storing skis.
Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for each bed (there is a 25 euro per stay supplement for a sofa bed pack if your property has a sofa bed you wish to use), end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 30% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 2.3 euros per adult per night and a non-refundable booking fee of 5%. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, excluding the 5% booking fee. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Beautiful accommodation, very nice view from the terrace, beautiful interior volumes, accommodation is well arranged and very pleasant, including the pellet stove in winter. Alpes Travel is responsive to needs and requests during the stay. Everything is within walking distance- Sports shops, bakery, cheese shop, tobacco press, restaurants and ski lifts.
