Chalet Blackbushe is conveniently located close to key amenities in Les Houches. Just steps away from the Prarion lift, it’s easy to hit the ski slopes straight from your doorstep. The chalet also overlooks the Chavants lake, a popular spot year-round with a café, cross-country ski track in the winter and a climbing wall in the summer.
For those travelling with kids, the area has plenty to keep them entertained. Daily essentials are easily sorted too; a bakery next door sells not only bread and pastries but also essentials like milk and even evening meals. When it comes to exploring further, the nearby bus stop provides hassle-free access to the rest of the Chamonix Valley. Chalet Blackbushe delivers a convenient and straightforward base for your alpine holiday, no matter what you’re looking to do.

Detailed description
Nestled in the Haute de Chavants development, Chalet Blackbushe offers a unique blend of seclusion and convenience. Please note that access to the chalet involves ascending approximately 30 steps, and thus may not be suitable for those with mobility restrictions.
As you enter the ground floor, you’ll find a TV room equipped with a sofa bed and a wide-screen TV with satellite channels. A dedicated laundry area includes a washer and tumble dryer. This level also features a shower room, a WC, and abundant storage space.
A short climb to the next level reveals an open kitchen, dining room, and living room, all warmly centered around a cosy fireplace, giving a traditional chalet feel. These spaces extend onto a balcony that overlooks splendid views and leads to a garden area perfect for alfresco dining.
On the top floor, two double bedrooms each provide private balcony access and are fitted with TVs. An office room and a well-appointed bathroom with WC complete this floor.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for each bed (there is a 25 euro per stay supplement for a sofa bed pack if your property has a sofa bed you wish to use), end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
