Chalet Details
Chalet Pele is spread across two spacious floors. The ground floor boasts a sleek, modern kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher—everything you need for a self-catered holiday. Gather in the separate dining room, which seats 10 and features a charming log-burning stove and a comfortable sofa. The cozy lounge snug, with seating for eight and UK TV, offers the perfect spot to relax. A utility room includes a washing machine, dryer, and ample storage for ski gear. Also on this floor is a twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
Upstairs, you’ll find four additional twin bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. One of the rooms includes a mezzanine with a single bed, ideal for an extra guest. The highlight of the first floor is the Swedish sauna, paired with a shower, offering the perfect way to soothe your muscles after a day on the slopes. Outside, there are two dedicated parking spaces for your convenience.
Chalet Location
Perfectly positioned in the centre of Chamonix, Chalet Pele is a fantastic choice for both summer and winter stays. Just a two-minute walk to the main bus stop, you’ll have easy access to all the villages in the Chamonix Valley, as well as various ski areas. The famous Aiguille du Midi lift, whisking you up to 3842m with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, is just minutes away. In less than five minutes, you can stroll to Chamonix’s lively pedestrianised high street, home to a variety of restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops. Set on a charming historic street, Chalet Pele provides an ideal base for exploring the valley and its many wonders without the need for a car.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for 11 guests, end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out may be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
