Pic Janvier is a well-equipped, two bedroom, two bathroom demi-chalet sleeping up to 6 guests (max 4 adults). Located in the peaceful and popular village of Les Praz, it’s just a 2 minute walk to the new Flégère gondola which gives access to the excellent Brévent-Flégère ski area. Guests benefit from a private, south-facing patio and the wood fireplace makes a cosy addition to the open plan living area. The chalet also boasts off-street parking and ample storage for skis, bikes and golf clubs.
Pic Janvier is located in the beautiful Chamonix village of Les Praz. Here you will find a selection of popular restaurants, cafés and bars in a peaceful setting, great for relaxing after a busy day on mountains. The chalet is also under 5 minutes walk from the newly renovated Flegere ski lift. In winter this gives you easy access to the largest of Chamonix’s ski areas, the connected Brévent-Flégère area. In summer, the Flégère gondola is the start point for one of the most famous hikes in Chamonix, the beautiful Lac Blanc. The renowned Chamonix Golf Club is also within an easy walk of the chalet. Chamonix centre is accessible by car in just 5 minutes or by foot along a lovely river path in around 20 minutes. It is also possible to take the bus and there is a bus stop just a couple of minutes walk from the chalet. Pic Janvier is perfectly located for those wanting a peaceful village location still with plenty of amenities close by.
Pic Janvier is a demi-chalet set over three floors. The ground floor has a modern, open plan kitchen, dining, living area with a fireplace and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The living area opens onto a private, south-facing patio which is equipped with table and chairs. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and adjacent to each bedroom are two bathrooms each with shower, basin and WC. One bedroom has twin beds, the other has a double bed. The top floor is a mezzanine which has a sofa bed and storage area. Due to the low ceiling of the mezzanine we would only recommend this as a sleeping area for children up to the age of 10. There is a large garage with direct access into the chalet which can be used to store skis, bikes and golf clubs and houses a washing machine. Additionally there is private off-street parking for one car directly in front of the chalet.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 30% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night and a non-refundable booking fee of 5%. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, excluding the 5% booking fee. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Really a great place to experience the hills, après ski, and Chamonix without being in the heart of Chamonix. The space is cozy and very suited to those wanting a ski chalet vibe in the heart of the French Alps. The area is great for those wanting to venture out to grab a bite or pick up some French fare. Chamonix city center is a beautiful 20 minute walk along the river bank. Parking was a bonus, a little tight, but that is very typical of Chamonix. All in, I would stay at this place again.
